FAQs

How does animal communication work?

Animal communication is a quiet, intuitive form of connection rooted in intention, presence, and deep listening. Many practitioners experience it as receiving impressions through images, emotions, thoughts, or inner knowing.

While science doesn’t fully explain this process, many people experience animals as deeply aware emotional beings. My role is simply to listen carefully, translate what I receive as clearly as possible, and hold space for understanding, healing, and connection. Every session honors the animal’s autonomy and emotional experience.

Can you connect with animals who have passed?

Yes. Many people experience their bond with an animal continuing after physical death, and sessions often provide reassurance, comfort, and a sense of ongoing connection. Whether your companion transitioned recently or years ago, love and connection are not limited by time.

Where are sessions done?

All sessions are conducted at a distance. Physical proximity isn’t necessary, so you and your companion can remain wherever you both feel most comfortable.

Most readings take place via Zoom so we can talk before and after the connection, though the communication itself happens quietly on my end.

Can animals experience trauma or PTSD?

Yes. Many animals — especially rescues, sanctuary animals, or those who have experienced significant stress — carry emotional responses to past experiences. Trauma-informed communication focuses on understanding what lives beneath behavior so guardians can respond with greater empathy, safety, and support.

Will this fix behavioral issues?

Animal communication isn’t behavior training or veterinary care. Instead, it helps uncover emotional context, which often leads to greater understanding, compassion, and more supportive responses from the humans who love them.

What if my animal doesn’t come through?

Most sessions include meaningful connection, but animals have autonomy just like we do. If communication feels limited, we focus on what is shared and what may best support you emotionally.

Will my animal tell you all my secrets?

Almost never. 😊
Animals tend to focus on what matters most to them — their comfort, their relationships, their feelings, and their connection with you. Sessions are centered on understanding and reassurance, not judgment.

What do you need before a session?

For most sessions I’ll ask for:

  • A recent photo of your companion

  • Their name

  • How they refer to you (Mom, Dad, your name, etc.)

  • Any specific questions or concerns you’d like addressed

If your animal is missing, I’ll also ask when they were last seen and any relevant details that may help guide the connection.

Do animals remain connected to us after they pass?

Many people experience continuing bonds through memory, dreams, subtle feelings, or moments of deep connection. Sessions often help affirm that love and connection don’t simply disappear — they evolve.

Do you ever use Reiki?

Yes, sometimes. Reiki is a gentle energetic support practice intended to encourage relaxation, balance, and emotional ease. I may incorporate it alongside communication sessions when an animal feels especially sensitive or overwhelmed.

It complements — but never replaces — veterinary or behavioral care.

Who are these sessions for?

These sessions are especially supportive for:

  • People grieving the loss of an animal companion

  • Guardians of sensitive or trauma-impacted animals

  • Those seeking deeper understanding and connection

  • Sanctuary or rescue environments supporting healing animals

At their heart, these sessions are about relationship, compassion, and honoring the individuality of each animal.
