Animals have always been central to my life — not just as companions, but as teachers, mirrors, and deeply feeling beings whose inner worlds deserve to be heard.

HI, I’M TAMI

My career began in corporate marketing, much of it in the film industry. While creatively fulfilling in many ways, I eventually felt called toward work that aligned more directly with my values. That calling led me into nonprofit animal advocacy, where I served as Communications Director for Pasado’s Safe Haven, one of the largest animal sanctuaries in the United States dedicated to ending animal cruelty.

There, I helped tell the stories of animals rescued from neglect, abuse, and exploitation — and I spent countless quiet moments simply being with them. Those experiences changed me profoundly.

Lily — My Heart and My Teacher

Shortly before I began working at the sanctuary, seventy-two dogs were rescued from a severe hoarding situation. One of them, an American Foxhound named Lily, came into my home as a foster.

She never left.

Lily carried profound trauma and lived with what I confidently recognize as PTSD. Because I navigate PTSD myself, I understood her language — the hypervigilance, the need for safety, the delicate pacing of healing.

She taught me patience in its purest form.
She taught me reverence for nervous systems.
She taught me how sacred healing truly is.

And ultimately, she guided me to this work.

Even now, after her physical passing in July 2023, our connection continues. I communicate with her regularly and feel her presence in both subtle and unmistakable ways. The bond remains — just expressed differently.

Everything I offer today exists, in part, because of her.

The Work I Offer Now

I specialize in:

  • Pet medium readings for animals in spirit

  • Trauma-informed animal communication for living companions

  • Reiki energy support for sensitive or healing animals

My work is particularly devoted to rescue animals, laboratory survivors, and those navigating emotional trauma or PTSD. These animals are often misunderstood. I aim to help guardians see beneath behavior to the emotional truth.

Sessions are grounded, compassionate, and guided by what each animal chooses to share.

Training & Professional Development

My approach combines lived experience, intuitive development, and formal study with respected teachers in animal communication, mediumship, and Reiki energy work.

I have studied with:

  • Polly Klein (Assisi Institute–trained Animal Communicator)

  • Daniel MacKinnon School of Soul Level Animal Communication

  • Anita Denise, Advanced Spiritual Master Teacher

  • Penelope Smith, pioneer in modern animal communication

  • Nancy Windheart, All Species Reiki

  • James Van Praagh (mediumship development)

Training is important — but equally important to me is humility, ongoing learning, and deep listening.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I believe animals are sentient, emotionally complex beings whose voices deserve space.

I believe trauma changes nervous systems — human and non-human alike.
I believe continuing bonds exist beyond physical presence.
And I believe healing happens when we listen deeply.

This is not just what I do.

It is how I live.

If you feel called to connect, I would be honored to work with you.

My Ethos

HONORING THE INDIVIDUALITY OF ALL BEINGS

TRUST

We share this world with animals, insects, fish, and beings of every kind, each carrying an innate right to be treated with dignity simply because they exist.

When I work with animals, I meet them as peers — sentient individuals with their own wisdom, perspectives, and inner lives. I listen with humility, speak with respect, and allow their voice to guide the interaction.

Trauma, fear, or misunderstanding never diminish an animal’s worth. They only deepen our responsibility to meet them with compassion, patience, and reverence.

DIGNITY

We share this world with animals, insects, fish, and beings of every kind. Because of that shared existence, each soul deserves to be met with inherent dignity, respect, and compassion.

When I work with animals, I approach them as peers — sentient individuals with their own perspectives, needs, and wisdom. My role is not to speak for them, but to listen with humility and honor who they are.
