Cat In The Hat

Beanie’s mom is an amazing human. She does TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) out of her house, paid for with her own funds, simply because she loves animals.

She went above and beyond for one stray, feral kitten whom she named Beanie, who at a very young age developed Feline Coronavirus, which progressed to FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), which is often fatal.

I spoke to Beanie when he was sick and could feel the difficulty he was having breathing, his severe anxiety about his painful vet appointments, and his love for his mom.

He passed from his illness not long after those conversations.

Recently I had another opportunity to communicate with Beanie in spirit, and it was an absolute delight!

When I connected with Beanie he showed himself walking in circles around my feet. I immediately felt love and a sense of peace emanating from him. He presented himself as an angel to his mom.

During our conversation Beanie shared with me that he was happy and at peace.

One of the things Beanie’s mom wanted me to convey to him was that she was sorry she couldn’t save him. Beanie made it very clear to me that it wasn’t her fault, that things happen, that he loves her, and to give her a big hug.

I asked Beanie if he had a memory he’d like his mom to know is special to him. He shared with me an image of a slouchy style hat.

Beanie shared with me that he would come to his mom in her dreams and to please convey to her that he has an infinite amount of love and gratitude for her for everything she did for him, but also for everything she does for all the cats. Then he gave her a scratchy cat kiss.

I thanked him for chatting with me and we said goodbye.

I shared our conversation with Beanie’s mom and she tearfully shared with me that when Beanie was a tiny kitten he loved to be carried around in a slouchy beanie cap and in the hood of her son’s sweatshirt.

The ability to offer confirmation that our beloved family members are still with us, even after they leave their bodies, is a great honor.
