LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work on traditional lands of the Snohomish people who lived in what is now known as Washington state. Like all Indigenous cultures, the Snohomish people held a profound reverence for the land, water and animals they shared their lives with. They were forced to cede much of their land to the United States government in the 1855 Treaty of Point Elliott.
