Reincarnation: Is it real?
My dog Lily is, was, and always will be, the love of my life. I knew it very early on in our relationship. Because we both experienced severe trauma and suffer from PTSD we shared an incredible bond from the very beginning. Losing her to cancer was - and still is - the worst pain I’ve ever experienced.
Sixteen excruciating months after she transitioned to the spirit world she told me she was back in a new body. And so began the greatest and most daunting challenge of my life: finding a puppy, not knowing their location, breed(s) or gender.
You see, Animal Communication isn’t like talking to a human who can say: “I’m a male, two week old, black standard poodle living in a brownstone on 5th Street in Manhattan”. I wish it were that easy but it’s not.
From early November ’24 to January 25, 2025 I spoke to Lily several times a day gathering clues about the new puppy’s location, gender, breed, age, and any other clues I could garner. I enlisted the help of two colleagues and one of my incredible teachers, who were all invaluable.
By Christmas we had amassed a pretty detailed list of clues regarding the situation and the person who had the pup. We knew the following based on conversations with Lily, some remote viewing, and pendulum work:
The owner was a hunting guide (outfitter), but also had a “happier” business
He had horses, and donkeys or mules
The letter B was prominent
There was an abandoned mine near his property
There is a creek near or on his property
He is former Law Enforcement
The litter was accidental
The pup was with a litter that was older
There was something Indigenous about the area
The pup was a hound and we knew what she looked like
The pup was in NW Montana
I could go on, but suffice it to say there were many, many more clues. And every one of the clues I mentioned above - and more - were how we found her. In fact, the letter B was so prominent it factored in more than five times.
Ivy
We had the clues in late December and felt very confident about them, but how do we find the pup? I had been scouring Craigslist, Facebook and the internet since November looking for outfitters or puppies that might fit the description, to no avail. As time went on I became more discouraged and panicked. But on the morning of January 25th I received a Craigslist notification about two Treeing Walker Coonhounds in Libby Montana looking for a home.
I opened the app, took one look at a picture of a four-month-old female and knew it was Lily in a new body. I began texting the owner and as the conversation became more casual I learned he was an outfitter and a realtor, that his last name, business name, the street he lives on, the creek on his property, and the mountains he lives in all begin with B. I learned the litter (and several more around the same time!!) were accidental, and all older than her. That he is former Law Enforcement. He told me he has numerous horses and mules for his business, and the mountain range he lives in was originally settled by peoples of the Salish Nation.
Did we get everything right? No, we were off on a few things and that’s to be expected. Animal Communication is quirky sometimes. It is two different species communicating telepathically, via energy - things are bound to get lost in translation on occasion.
But it works and I found her. After three very intense months of deep conversations with Lily, countless hours of sometimes aimless internet searching, we did it! The love of my life, who never gave up on me, led me to a four month old Treeing Walker Coonhound who we lovingly call Ivy.
I see Lily in Ivy all the time. I see it in the way she trots gingerly down the stairs, or hoards toys outside. I see it in the way she looks at me, like we’ve spent a lifetime together. I see Lily when Ivy yawns and makes the same, very distinct sound that Lily made, and how Ivy claimed Lily’s spot in the bed from day one. And just like Lily, Ivy will stand at the bedroom door and stare at me, and she is absolutely relentless in her determination that it is time for a meal. I see Lily in small ways and big ways and sometimes it takes my breath away - but every time I see Lily in Ivy I am reminded that love is powerful and reincarnation is real.
